The next few posts will respond to questions many of you have asked me lately.

#1: Lately I can't buy the original 5 Orphanage books as e-books/Kindle editions. They were my favorites. What's up with that?

Those first five books were, and still are, a LOT of readers' favorites. Especially the early 2004-2008 US printings, with this cover image by the great English illustrator Fred Gambino. The Kindle editions were tied to the physical books originally published by Time-Warner. Time-Warner's rights reverted to me awhile ago, so the titles could be reissued by Baen books, which has published my work for the last several years. When that reissue happens the e-books will return. Nope, I'm not sure when that will happen. I just write 'em.
